UNLEASH World 2025 – From Industry Buzz to Tangible Impact

Data-Driven Intelligence, Expertise & Innovation| Views: 36

Having attended UNLEASH World three or four times, this year’s edition in Paris was easily the most impactful yet. The difference wasn’t just in scale or production value – it was in the depth of conversation. Both at the conference and during our own Radancy pre-UNLEASH networking evening at the beautiful Shangri-La Paris, where more than 80 HR and talent acquisition executives came together, the discussions were open, honest and grounded in reality. And throughout the conversations, one theme was clear: the market is shifting from multiple point solutions to a single, AI-powered platform – and the Radancy Talent Acquisition Cloud is positioned at the center of that transformation.

Beyond the Buzzwords

AI and skills dominated the halls – but what truly stood out were the applications behind the hype. Two moments captured that perfectly.

1. Spotlight on TUI: Building an AI-Driven Candidate Experience

The standout presentation came from TUI’s Kornelia Kiss, who shared how TUI is laying the groundwork for an AI-driven candidate experience. The focus wasn’t on futuristic promises but on the now: preparing the employer brand and career site so the company stays visible and relevant in an AI-mediated search world – the “ChatGPTs of this world,” as she aptly put it.

TUI showcased how powerful a career site can be when it becomes the backbone of discoverability, authenticity and engagement – built on structured data, clear ontology and compelling content that speaks to both humans and algorithms.

Radancy’s role came through clearly in TUI’s story: our global research, behavioral insights and design frameworks helped inform TUI’s roadmap and readiness for AI-enhanced candidate journeys. With the AI Career Discovery Agent joining the Radancy Talent Acquisition Cloud, the case served as a concrete proof point of how our platform can bridge the gap between technology and talent experience.

2. Tackling the AI Application Surge

The second key theme was the practical reality of AI adoption. As more organizations introduce AI-powered tools into recruitment, many are facing a flood of applications – and the resulting screening and scheduling bottlenecks.

This is precisely where Radancy’s recent acquisition of myInterview resonated with attendees. Our ability to integrate ethical AI video assessment deeply into ATS workflows and Microsoft Teams positions us to address this surge head-on. The message that landed most strongly: Radancy isn’t experimenting with AI – we’re operationalizing it responsibly, to solve real-world talent acquisition challenges while protecting and enhancing employer brands.

A Keynote Moment: Josh Bersin on the “Once-in-a-Generation Reset”

One of the most discussed moments of the event came from Josh Bersin’s keynote, “The Disruption Never Stops: How AI Is Radically Transforming HR.” Drawing on exclusive research and over 100 use cases, Josh explored how AI is not just changing HR systems – it’s redefining the entire function.

He emphasized that we are less than 5% into the business reinvention of AI. The pace of change is accelerating, yet many organizations and regulatory frameworks are lagging behind. “Tech is learning every day,” he noted, “but our systems and processes aren’t adapting nearly fast enough.”

Key takeaways from his talk included:

  • The rise of the “superworker”: High-performing organizations are empowering employees through AI rather than replacing them – though Josh acknowledged that some companies may reduce staffing as automation expands.
  • Human ingenuity as the differentiator: The future belongs to organizations that combine AI capabilities with human creativity, judgment and empathy.
  • Fewer but more capable HR teams: He predicted HR departments could shrink by 20–30% in the coming years, as technology and automation streamline administrative functions.
  • Data management as the new HR skill set: Managing, curating and interpreting people data will become the new core competency for HR professionals.
  • From skills ontology to talent density: Josh made it clear he’s ready to move past the endless “build your own taxonomy” debate – vendors and AI-driven solutions can already do this far better. What matters now is increasing talent density – developing and deploying high-impact people faster.
  • A new IT and HR reality: While IT budgets are rising, organizations are weighed down by too many disparate applications. The winners will be those who simplify and connect their ecosystems around data, trust and performance.
  • Rethinking job architecture. Many current frameworks are now “in the way of AI,” he said, as organizations cling to outdated hierarchies instead of embracing skills- and outcome-based models.

The tone of the session was both energizing and cautionary. Bersin acknowledged a nervous workforce but underlined that adaptability, transparency and trust will be the defining traits of successful organizations. For Radancy, his vision aligns closely with our own focus – using ethical, practical AI to amplify human potential, empower efficiency and simplify complexity across the hiring journey, not replace the people doing the work.

Five Themes That Defined UNLEASH World 2025

Across sessions and side conversations, five consistent narratives emerged:

  • AI as augmentation, not automation. The human remains central.
  • Skills-based transformation powered by ontologies. Companies are moving from static roles to dynamic skills architectures.
  • Human-centered design and storytelling. Brand and narrative are the differentiators in an algorithmic age.
  • Foundational readiness. You can’t bolt AI onto legacy systems – you have to build with it in mind.
  • Trust and governance. Ethical AI, transparency and accountability are now table stakes.

Radancy at the Center of the Conversation

At Booth E231, we showcased the Radancy Talent Acquisition Cloud and Agentic AI capabilities through live demos, giving talent leaders a hands-on view of how connected data, content and AI come together. Our leadership sessions – including Nathan Perrott’s spotlight on “Delivering the Future of Talent Acquisition with AI” – reinforced Radancy’s position not just as a technology provider but as a thought partner shaping the next era of talent attraction.

Looking Ahead

UNLEASH World 2025 made one thing clear: the conversation about AI in talent acquisition has moved from “if” to “how.” Organizations are looking for ways to execute responsibly, at scale and with measurable outcomes.

Radancy’s approach to ethical AI – backed by research, insight and real-world integration – aligns directly with that future. By bringing data, content, media and intelligent automation together in a single platform, the Radancy Talent Acquisition Cloud helps organizations simplify hiring, reduce costs and accelerate results. And after a week of inspiring conversations in Paris, one thing is certain: Radancy is helping drive the shift from buzz to tangible business impact.
